  • East Grand Forks Spring Cleanup is from May 5th - May 9th. Place items on the berm for pick up.
    Household Hazardous Waste and Electronics drop off will be on Saturday, May 3rd from 9am until 3:30pm at the Parks and Recreation building, 929 5th Avenue NE.

  • Calendar Parking

  • Snow Emergency.
    A snow emergency automatically goes into effect when 2 inches or more of snow has fallen until the streets are cleaned. Under a snow emergency, no parking on any City Street is allowed until that street has been cleared to its full width. Violators will be ticketed and towed.

  • It is unlawful to park or leave standing any motor vehicle or trailer on a Yellow Commercial Route between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. during the period of enforcement.

  • It is unlawful to park or leave standing any motor vehicle or trailer on any roadway or right-of-way designated a Blue Route between the hours between 7:30 a.m. and 12:00 noon on any Monday, Wednesday or Friday; or on any roadway or right-of-way designated a Red Route between the hours between 7:30 a.m. and 12:00 noon on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday during the period of enforcement.

    Trash Collection Front

  • The City of East Grand Forks has opened a Yard Waste and Recycling Site. The site is located at 114 2nd Ave NE (next to the Louis Murray Bridge). To access the site, you must use an entry card. The card can be obtained by downloading and filling out an entry card request form, which also has additional details about the new site.
