The East Grand Forks Campbell Library invites the community to be a part of the library by volunteering. There are many opportunities to enhance your library services with your time and talents.

Volunteer Opportunities
Circulation

Helping the library with circulation tasks may include working at the front desk greeting patrons and helping them with check out, working with inventory or other book care tasks. Timeframe: 2-3 hours, 2-4 times a month.


Book Sale

This opportunity includes working with other volunteers to sort books, act as cashier or to keep the book shelves neat during the Friends Book Sale the first weekend of May. Timeframe: 2-3 hours shifts.


Art Exhibits

Help to hang art exhibit, and to prepare labels for some exhibits. Timeframe: Occasionally, 1-3 hour shifts.


Summer Program Aides

Support the library's summer programs by working with our program coordinator to provide an experience that encourages reading. Timeframe: 3 hour shifts, 1-3 times a week during June and July.


Contest Judge

Work with other volunteers to judge the library's children and adult contests. Timeframe: Occasionally, 1-3 hour shift.
