CIRCULATION POLICY Patrons visiting the library will be granted privileges to borrow materials based on their status. See the residency policy below for definitions.
NEW CARD - RESIDENT After showing proof of residency and filling out a registration card, a patron may borrow 3 items.
NEW CARD - NONRESIDENT After showing identification, filling out a registration card and paying the fee; a patron may borrow 3 items.

Circulation Notes:
- Teachers may check out any material for six weeks.
- No renewals on videotapes, DVD’s, artwork or reserved materials.
- A patron will be responsible for any loss or damage beyond normal wear which occurs to any library materials in his/her possession or checked out under a child’s card he or she has signed.
- Library cards are renewed yearly.
RESIDENCY POLICY
RESIDENTS (No charge) Anyone with proof of residency within the city limits of East Grand Forks, Minnesota.
NONRESIDENTS (Fee applies) Anyone living outside of the city limits of East Grand Forks, Minnesota.
GRAND FORKS AIR FORCE BASE RESIDENTS (No charge) Anyone with an active duty military or dependent ID card from the GFAFB. |
